I read the paper today and the news unnerved me!! It turns out that McCain's being advised on econmics by none other than good ole boy and ex-Texas Senator Phil Gramm.
Presidential
Oops! The cat's out of the bag. The GOP really doesn't give a flip about the economic woes of the country.
- Posted by Just-thinkingSuggested covers for the New Yorker
- Posted by JackIf the New Yorker thinks that the cover with the Obamas is appropriate satire, then here are some other sugestions:
1. Bush, in the oval office, as a puppet, with Dick Cheney's hand up his ass;
2. Bush, in the oval office, as a puppet, with his head up his ass;
3.Bush, in the oval office, as a puppet, trying to show he is his own man, with his own hand up his ass;
After the tragedy of Bush, every topic is fair game; so McCain, your war record is fair game
- Posted by citizenKCan anyone really argue with the fact that the Bush presidency is and was a disaster of historical proportions?
For those of you who still support him consider what dominates the news: the wars, the foreclosures, the $4 gas, the stagnant stock market and Britney Spears. Case closed.
Bush's failures certainly do not come from a man of genius whom the world just did not understand. It comes from simple lack of experience in matters domestic and foreign.

Hey Hillary, the rules are the rules
- Posted by JackHillary Clinton specifically agreed that the Michigan and Florida primaries would not count because they violated party rules and held their primaries at an unapproved date.
Although she placed her name on the ballot, she did not campaign. Obama was not even on the ballot.
Now that she needs the votes and delegates she blatently changes her position and agreement without any justification.
Now that is the kind of character we need in the White House and the leader of the free world.
But hey, this is politics. Since when do rules matter.
Hillary and McCain forget they are Senators
- Posted by JackBoth Hillary Clinton and John McCain are in favor of a gas tax holiday.
Stupid idea, but that is not the point.
If they really, really believe in this nonsense, all they have to do is propose some legislation. Remember, they are senators. They can actually do that.
Will they. Never. \
What is wrong with the voting public. Why do they believe in anything some politician says just because it means some more beer money.
Are we really all just Homer Simpsons???
The Clinton Clan is almost out of Control.
- Posted by JackIt has been reported by some super delegates that as soon as they announced their support of Obama, they received a call from the former first daughter, Chelsea, who repeteadly asked them "Why, Why, Why".
I can understand Hillary wanting it bad. We know Bill wants it bad. But come on, Chelsea?
It must trouble us all that the Clinton Clan thinks that they are so entitled to get back into the White House that they are not just attacking Obama anymore but are starting to get ugly with Anyone that stands in their way.
Thank you, your Holiness. Awesome speech.

I am speechless!

Truth will get you nothing, ever.
- Posted by JackRecently, Obama came under fire for telling the truth about why some people probably vote the way they do. It does not matter the context. It does not matter the truth of what he said. It gave his rivals the opportunity to immediatly jump on him and follow up with their promises to be everything for everybody and more nonsense like that.
