In Texas the Perry/Hutchinson race will define the future of the Republican party.

The feud between Limbaugh and Steele, the RNC chair, is amateur hour.

The feud to watch is the Texas race for governor between republican Perry and republican Hutchinson. The party faithful will have to take sides. The winning side will be the next iteration of the republican party. It may even spawn a future Presidential candidate.

The race is in its infancy, so not much going on right now. As the days and weeks march on, however, watch the nation take note and the party try out new themes as the economy hobbles along and the republicans try and find their new place in a socialist era.
