"French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have said more spending would not rescue the world economy and could create unsustainable deficits. They have urged an emphasis on tightening regulations, blaming lax oversight for the financial crisis."
The above is an excerpt from a Reuters article on the current U.S. Economics status. I would like to hear anyone's reactions to the French and German President's perspective on turning the global economy around. Anyone agree/disagree or have a different opinion?

Given the current situation
Given the current situation and the possibility of where we are headed as a nation (i.e. how long it will take to bounce back from the crimple of the financial crisis), has anyone considered moving abroad to settle, and/or taking jobs in another country?
Our current politics have many in uproar. A similar question in a different article on www.theobamamethod.com received some mindblowing critques.
The answer to your question
The answer to your question is found in the current strength of the euro compared to the US dollar. The euro is rising, the dollar is declining.
As a government we can print money, but should we. It only dilutes the value of the dollar and consequently our strength in the world market.
As always, we as a country react BIG to any crisis. This is no different. Throw a lot of money at the problem, dont take any time to think about it, cover your mistakes for acting too fast by throwing more money at the problem.
I think European leaders have it right. Slow down, let the markets and market forces work a bit.
