"Despite not being natural persons, corporations are recognized by the law to have rights and responsibilities like actual people. Corporations can exercise human rights against real individuals and the state,[1] and they may be responsible for human rights violations.[2] Just as they are "born" into existence through its members obtaining a certificate of incorporation, they can "die" when they lose money into insolvency. Corporations can even be convicted of criminal offences, such as fraud and manslaughter."

They speculated on everything from land, natural resources, mortgage backed securities and loans, and other debt and used complex algorithms and accounting practices inflate assets and to hide losses... they paid a lobby to push deregulation so they could do it legally. What happened to the blue sky laws that each state is supposed to have? Lobbyists paid through corporate interests changed the laws and regulation policies that historically safe guarded the American people from the speculations, greed and corruption. Also to curtail those who would try to play the system with penalty and accountability. Would that be conspiracy under the letter of the law?
I need my government to recognize that a corporation does not have the same rights as myself... My argument is that if I scammed the system I would be tossed in jail, sent to prison. I was reading on how a corporation dies according to the federal law. If I conspired, I could be in prison for my natural life.
Two things should happen. We should prosecute the corporation for manslaughter and conspiracy to commit murder (as to the definition of insolvency) foreclosing on mortgages and handing stockholders incredible losses that they could never cover in the course of their natural lives. The government should seize the corporations’ assets, leaving the debts to be unpaid to allow these irresponsible corporations to die. The same way we allow death row inmates to pay their debts to society with their life. Second, we should prosecute the people that set this system up by deregulation, and those who would hide and sell losses, and conspire with a corporation to take and hoard wealth, and socializing debt though national banks and privatizing profits.
