I'm A Proud American

There's hardly a day goes by that someting happens to make me think of ways I can better serve my readers. It may be of a political nature, or public health issues or something that puts a burr under my saddle. There is an old saw that goes like this; an aged Frenchman was asked on his 85th birthday if he had any regrets, and after careful fhought, he replied, "there are so many women and so little time".

This is the type of dillemma that faces me when I have to make a selection of subject material for my musings.

Often I just start writing whatever pops into my head and it goes from there.

Today, my subject is my pride in being an American and my having served as a volunteer in our military service.

I have a God that provided me with the opportunity to be born in this wonderful country and I thank Him over and over. I give thanks to so many of you great readers that take the time to write me your comments, both pro and con of the thoughts I have expressed.

I feel pity for those individuals who go around bad mouthing every thing and every body, they are really sad apples, and I hope that somehow, some way, my writings will bring about a change in attitude.

Yes, I am both humble and proud to be an American citizen.
